Another sea day and really nothing exciting to report. After breakfast this morning we went to the cinema
and saw Mr. Poppers Penguins". I thought it was very cute. Jules, you should really see it; it might bring
back fond memories.
After lunch we went to a cooking demonstration but it was the same one we went to last cruise and we couldn't understand the chef last time and it was no different this time.
Tonight is the guitarist/singer that we love and the magician (who we missed last night) but heard he's just okay. I'm sure they'll have the guitarist on second so we'll be forced to see the magician. Maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised.
If anyone is interested the 18th is Sandy's birthday. I think it woud be nice if she got a few phone calls. Please tell her I ask about her a lot and wish her well.

ReplyDeleteJust got back from up north where I froze my ass off. Went into Brooklyn Friday to meet with my old boss Kathie for lunch. Left the car in B'klyn. and took the train into the city to look for beads for my needlepoints. Well, tons for stores on 6ave. 34-38 all had beads, but none to match my colors. All the stores were chinesse and they looked at me like I had two heads. Got back to B'klyn. and the rental car wouldn't open. So that was a 2 hour wait when the door finally opened, so I went to Newark & got a new car that worked. The bridal shower was great. Went back to B'klyn. today before the flight to get bagels. It killed me in the city not to eat a hot dog or pretzel or pizza, what am I crazy. I just finished unpacking and am doing laundry to get ready to pack again. I'm going to Inverness Thursday to see my friend Jane from NJ and we may go see Winter, so that this way when you get home I'll know where it is and we can go. Going to ortho tomorrow for my foot and hip. Just got a denial notice from GHI for the mra that I had done already. I guess DCA will have to eat that cost, I hope. I may have to use your car for a few hours this week, I have to bring mine in for oil change before I go up north. Sandy I think is going in for lazer on her foot tomorrow, I'll check. Wed. I'm getting a body wave, my hair is just flat. How is your arm and wrist you never write about it? So is that guy who is picking you up single, is there a romance going on? That's it for now. Will write again, tomorrow is come fly away.

ReplyDeleteWent to doctor today and I have to get a cam walker, it's a boot to wear. Are you ready for this, the mra that I took my insurance denied, oh well they are participating in ghi, so it's their problem now. I just got a notice from Kravis for Peter Pan with Cathy Rigby Aug. 1- Aug. 5, do you want to go, I will order the tickets, just let me know. How is Enid doing? How is your wrist?

Sandy had surgery..As of this afternoon she was just sleepy from the anesthesa, but otherwise ok

ReplyDeleteI had to order the boot and I will have to wear it at least for 3-4 weeks. As for the food, I'm back on prednizone so I am trying not to gain weight. I bought the b'klyn. bagels cause I couldn't resist, they are in the freezer for when you get home. Winter is the dolphin. Inverness is north of Orlando, it's 250 miles, my friend Jane from NJ has a house there. So, I will know how to go when you get home so we can go see the dolphin together. I started p.t. today for my tennis elbow. I also got a body wave today, got jealous of your curly hair. I got an email from Jules and he wanted to know if we got a $100 obc yet for the viking. It took me awhile to figure out what obc meant. I will try to figure out how to find out. Only 22 more days till you get back, whoopy. I got a new I phone this week that is global, still trying to figure it out. Spoke to Lollie today said we can work out my right arm and my left foot and my stomach only, this should be fun. The doc wanted to put my foot in a cast, my right foot, so I told him I drive with my right foot, so I don't think so. I know I'm just rambling, but I don't want to forget anything. Saw come fly away last night and it was good, a lot of dancing to old blue eyes.Let me know if Enid wants to see Peter Pan also, first night is Aug. 1 which is a Wed. I have to get the order in by the 23rd.
So, my buddy, that's the story for now. I won't be taking my laptop with me, so I will write again either tomorrow before I leave or on Sunday when I get back.
