MAR 2 AND 3 FRIDAY & SATURDAY
Actually I have nothing to write about. Were just finishing the 2nd sea day in a row and Enid and I are both
sick with colds and a cough. We basically left the cabin only to eat and then back to the cabin to sleep.
I have never slept so much in my life. Tonight was a formal night and we had dinner delivered to our cabin.
Tomorrow we'll be in Brisbane and then 1 more sea day and this 18 night cruise will be over. Where did the days go? I'm sad that this portion is almost over.

ReplyDeleteSo sorry you both have coughs and colds, must be miserable. We are just waiting for the cab to take us to the airport, very excited but not looking forward to the 23 hour flight. Still once it's over the real fun starts....can't wait to see you both.

ReplyDeleteOnly you 2 could get sick, didn't you bring pills with you? Get some chicken soup. Monday I'm supposed to get an mri of my foot and hip and mra of my stomach that was ordered 2 months ago, well yesterday at 4:15 pm, D.C.A. calls and said that they didn't have approval yet, so I called ghi and they said that it was only requested yesterday. It only takes 2 days to approve, but I will only let Eddy give me the needle and he only works on Monday. So next Monday I will first be flying back from up north, so I will have to wait another week to get the mra. I'm still going for the mri's. Wait, the letters will be going out. Well, the sun is out and so am I. Talk to you later.

spoke to sandy..she is going to vascular dr...also they said she needs to go into a hyperbaric chamber to aid in the healing process..Norman had a heart attack..his step daughter has been with him..helping him..he had some arteries replace..they wanted to use pigs arteries..but he told them he was kosher so they used a cow instead
ReplyDeleteHi Gladys, As you tell me of all you problems I am making out a list of meds to bring with me on my cruise, like cough medicine and penicillian. Today I am going for a sigmoidoscopy, only had to do enema's for this so maybe I lost a pound. Had my 2 M.R.I. and MRA on Monday, mra was negetive but the foot mri said that I should have an mri of my ankle, which I had at 8pm last night. so I should be hearing from the foot doctor today.When you get home I will tell you how stupid DCA is.DuDu Fisher was great Monday night and as usual Leo backed out, so I took Ellen With me, she lives on K and new to V.W. and she loved it and understood everything. Got the shows for the Maltz for 2012 and 2013 and guess what show will be there, your favorite, the Music Man. Can't buy tickets yet unless we buy a subscription, Singing in the rain will also be there. Kravis will release by the end of March, so they say. Larry shaved, still won't cut his hair. I ordered a new phone yesterday, since mine isn't gobal, so I am getting an I phone, we'll see if I can figure it out before I leave. I'm off to NY on Friday, hope I don't freeze my ass off. I feel like I haven't spoken to you in years. Laura and Joan are making a bar-b-q at the beach on March 25th. and are inviting a lot of people, think they realized that they don't have that many friends in here. Shelly has finally opened her eyes. Well, let me go, duty calls.
