How do you start to pack for 53 days? That in itself will be an adventure and I can only hope I'm up to the task. I have broken my middle toe a little over a week ago and am supposed to keep my foot elevated but with everything coming up that is impossible.
We leave 2 weeks from tomorrow (Feb. 12th) and not looking forward to the 2 long flights ahead of of us. First the schlep to Miami airport for our American Airlines flight to Los Angeles with a 5 hour layover before we catch our V Atlantic flight
(15 hours) to Sydney. I'm sure we'll be wiped out by the time we arrive in Sydney at 8AM on 2/14. We lose a day crossing the International date line.
I hope to write everyday but promise to update as often as I can. I'm hoping to keep you all inerested and traveling vicariously through the blog.

After 10 minutes of BS getting signed into AOL, including not remembering my favorite city, I hope that Sydney is beginning to be one of your favorites. Hope that you are doing well and the comments about a sore wrist are just rumors. Look forward to hearing about your adventure.

She fell and fractured her wrist coming into my house..This is not a rumor..She is in the cast above her elbow for 6 weeks..not too comfortable..Thank goodness for Enid
